About Dr. Kotler

Dr. Caroline Kabel-Kotler attended medical school at the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine (Formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic medicine) in Stratford, NJ, graduating in 1994. After medical school she completed her Osteopathic Pediatric Internship at Kennedy Memorial Hospital – University Medical Center followed by her three-year Allopathic Pediatric Residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden NJ.

Dr. Kotler received her Board Certification from the American Board of Pediatrics and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics in 1998. She joined Advocare Laurel Pediatrics, a busy, suburban practice, and from her earliest days focused on behavioral medicine and on treating complicated patients with mental health disorders. She soon became a co-owner of the practice and together with her partner opened a second location, Advocare Greentree Pediatrics. Shortly after opening Advocare Greentree Pediatrics, Dr. Kotler began devoting more of her time both in her practice and within the community to behavioral medicine and educational advocacy.

After 18 successful, fulfilling years in private practice, Dr. Kotler moved with her family to Colorado in 2017. Since arriving in Colorado, she has worked for both nonprofit and private organizations, most recently with Pediatrics at the Meadows in Castle Rock. With much love and support, in early 2020, she left to open LINKS Pediatrics and Adolescent Behavioral Health. Dr. Kotler is very excited to finally be devoting all of her time and focus as a Behavioral Specialist where she knows her new community will benefit from her unique skill set and approach.

In her spare time Dr. Kotler enjoys taking advantage of all the outdoor activities her fabulous new state has to offer. She cherishes her frequent hikes with her husband of 27 years and their three children, along with the family’s well-loved rescue puppy. Her favorite sport is skiing, although if shopping and accessorizing were sports, they’d come in a close second, because we all need a little bling in our lives.
